1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IC 2026 India Student Ambassador Registration Portal ("the Portal"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Portal.

2. About the Portal

This Portal is operated by Team Sanketra-I, the official India Student Ambassador team for Innovation Challenge 2026 (IC 2026), organised by Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab, India. The Portal facilitates student registration and project submission for IC 2026. It is not an official LPU product.

3. Eligibility

• The Portal is open to students currently enrolled in a recognised school or college in India.
• Participants must be between 10 and 22 years of age at the time of registration.
• Teams may consist of 1 to 4 members. One member must be designated as Team Leader.
• Each student may submit only one registration. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified.
• Students below 18 years must have parental or guardian awareness and consent before registering.

4. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Submitting false, misleading, or incomplete information — including falsified identity documents — is a violation of these Terms and will result in immediate disqualification and permanent removal from the competition.

5. Intellectual Property

All project ideas, concepts, and presentations submitted through the Portal remain the intellectual property of the registering student(s). By registering, you grant Team Sanketra-I and IC 2026 organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to feature your project title, description, and team name in promotional materials, announcements, and event documentation related to IC 2026.

You must not submit work that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. Any plagiarism or copied work will result in disqualification.

6. Code of Conduct

• Participants must conduct themselves respectfully toward organisers, mentors, judges, and fellow participants.
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind is strictly prohibited.
• Any attempt to manipulate, hack, or exploit the Portal is prohibited and may result in legal action.
• Participants may not misrepresent their identity, qualifications, or project status.

7. Disqualification

Team Sanketra-I and the IC 2026 organising team reserve the right to disqualify any registration that violates these Terms, provides false information, or otherwise acts in a manner contrary to the spirit of the competition. Disqualification decisions are final.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Portal is provided on an "as is" basis. Team Sanketra-I is not liable for:

• Technical failures, downtime, or data loss caused by third-party services (Firebase, Cloudinary, Telegram, GitHub).
• Loss of registration data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Portal.

9. Modifications

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the Portal shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
